The Alvin Pallet Gate arrives in kit form for easy transportation and simple installation and is the perfect solution for allowing fast and safe movement of goods between floors or from a mezzanine.
Each gate is counterbalanced giving a smooth opening and closing action to reduce worker fatigue and the shape of the gate means that workers are always protected from accessing the open edge. The design also makes the Fork-lift operator’s job easier; pallets can be placed very close to the edge of the floorbecause the opening motion moves the gate edge away from the pallet as the gate is opened. This in turn makes it much easier to line up the forks and correctly lift the pallet– no more shuffling the pallet forward swith the fork-tips to get it against the mast carriage. This all helps to maximise the efficiency of the operation without compromising safety.
Alvin Pallet Gates are made entirely of our Alvin Key Clamp galvanised components which means they can be designed to attach directly to an Alvin Key Clamp guardrail on either side, and where minimising weight is a concern the pallet gates are also available with aluminium tubes, please call or email us to discuss the options. This modular design also means that should any damage occur, components are readily available for repairs, and maintenance is generally limited to checking that the fixings remain tight. All things considered this a highly cost-effective and long-life product.
